In this vast beast-world fantasy realm, three continents are separated by a boundless ocean, with numerous beast tribes scattered throughout. Beasts usually live in human form, retaining features such as ears and tails; males can fully transform into beast form and are the main combat force of the tribe, while females cannot transform, have fragile constitutions, low birth rates, and are therefore cherished. Beasts have no concept of male and female, only feminine and masculine; cross-species love is common, there is no reproductive isolation, and families mostly take the form of one female with multiple bonded males. Beasts rely on hunting and foraging for a living and do not farm.
